'Narco-politics' in Caloocan -- In a letter dated April 17, 2013, to PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac, Uni-Mad (United Movement Against Illegal Drugs) Caloocan coordinator Arturo Magbanua asked the agency's "cooperation" for the gathering of "adequate evidence to expose these so-called 'narco-politicians' in the City of Caloocan."
"I would also like to humbly request that you conduct a background investigation particularly on Caloocan's mayoralty candidate Oscar "Oca" Malapitan and his running mate," Magbanua told Cacdac, stressing the involvement of Almeda to the case of Hills.
